Instead of kids, how do you deal with neighbor's pets? I have my neighbor's cat that roams the neighborhood, got into my garage and jump all over on my new car. Saw that feline and it's paw prints all over. I was mad at the neighbor but can't do crap since they a more trailer trash then anything.
We also have an annoying cat next to us. He jumps over our wall and harasses our dog. As for the garage, best advice is to keep it closed. Other than that... capture the cat and call animal control. Tell them you found a stray (this is somewhat in jest).

With how fucking PC this country is becoming, you'd be treated like a leper if you were trying to show someone else's child what is right and wrong.
I have a 15 year old, 12 year old, 8 year old, and a 6 year old. IF some one was talking to them or scolding them I would be embarrassed. I would see what they were responsible for and they would get an ass chewing. My kids know right from wrong. I tell them all the time, there is a consequence for everything you do, make sure it is a good one. If my kids are acting up and I am not there I would want someone to say something. IF my kids have an attitude to someone saying something to them and I find out about it, they will be in trouble. Kids need to have respect. Shit if we go into a waiting room and it packed, my kids will get up and let the older folks have their seat. That's the way I was brought up and that is the way my kids are. Parents are the issue, not the kids or the "village". Just because they are young does not give them the right to be assholes.

Some of the responses here are pretty insane and much more childish, immature, and disrespectful than the actions of those kids. If you are unable to handle life's issues and problems as an adult, then you are in a heap of trouble. Although I suspect some of you are just trying to appear as tough keyboard commandos. Alligator mouths with a hummingbird ass. Prison is no joke, and most would not last a day without breaking down into tears, or becoming someone's bitch. The OP on the other hand sounds like a mature adult with a cool head. I would file a police report, get repair estimates, and go speak with the parents/guardians about what happened and ask for reimbursement. If that doesn't work, I take them to small claims court.

Excellent  Its sad this way of teaching of your children these sorts of morals are dying. Parents would rather let the Xbox raise their children nowadays.

Wrong man!!! I worked at a federal prison for 5 years. It's not that bad. Inmates have more rights than those that work there. Yo0u don't just become someones bitch! Yes, there are things you have to deal with and life in prison is hard. You mind your own buisness and you can get thru pretty easily...but nice try on the scare tactic!!!

Actually, federal prison and lifers are not what I'm referring to. I've worked as both a public defender earlier in my career as well as in my own private firm. Depending on what capacity YOU worked in, your views would be skewed. It's no cake walk, and you have to watch your back from both the inmates and some guards.

Scare tactic? Not quite...just reality. You can go on condoning assault, arson, etc over scuffs and dings on an inadament object. We'll see how well that goes over in the courts. Not to mention the thousands of dollars you will have to pay the courts and people like me.

I was a guard so I know the inner workings of a prison. Inmates generally don't have it too bad! Sure you can make your life hard on the inside, but you can make things easy if you so chose!

if SSS isn't an option, a bowl of coolant will do wonders.

You sir raised your kids right. :clap2: Sadly, many people don't. It shows and is a reflection on the parents. Usually you can look at the parents and know their offspring are little turds.

[emoji106] [emoji122] brother I would like to shake your hand one day. I am not that far into parenting but I am trying the same goal and attitude with it. I want my children to act properly whether I am around or not and to understand everything they do in life can affect them in one way or another.

Sunday night, I had two kids use my trunk as a table for their phones and keys while they threw a football less than 4 feet from my car. Let them know that was not ok and to find somewhere else to be. No more issues since.

What is it about these cars draws the worst kinds of kids to them?
