I'm looking at having the strut tower brace powder coated. Is there a problem with removing it and driving the car? It's a structural support, so I don't want to get anything out of alignment by removing it.

You shouldn’t have a problem taking it off. Most non PP cars don’t come with a strut tower brace.

Just curious, are you powder coating it to match your exterior paint?

No, I'm going to have it done in red. I've got the Redline interior so I'm kind of doing a red accent thing.

You'll be fine. I removed mine when the Whipple was installed. No negative effects.

the car will fold in half. Go by home depot and get a 2x4 and screw it down while it's getting powdercoated just to be safe
Ya got me with that one
