I have the OEM PP brace installed on mine, it's no harder to check the oil than it was getting it around the sound tube in my opinion.

The sound tube is a hideous pile of plastic that runs from the intake tube along the passengers side of the engine and plumbs into the firewall. It has a diaphragm in it that vibrates using intake air and the sound is heard in the cabin..a bit like an air powered sub woofer...it adds some sound to the cabin to counter the quiet exhaust. The sound is pretty annoying as it is a booming sound. I have blanked the intake and the end of the tube and run the car and the exhaust sound from inside the car is so much cleaner and crisper. When I manage to find a plug for the firewall, I will remove it.

It is the plastic tube running off the the intake pipe with the square lump on it and a big round blob just under the strut brace...takes up too much space and looks terrible.

Dremel grind the stb?..with the stb you can't pull the dipstick strait out on the '15 model gt. Its still doable with a little curvature while removing it. I wouldnt grind it though.

I'm not sure where the Dremel the Sound Tube came from..

We do need to use a Dremel as the Strut Brace need to be grinded a little bit with the Dremel to fit on the RHD Mustang models.
