I have been driving manual for over 14 years, but on two occasions now, I think I've smelled my clutch getting fried. The first was when I was cruising and clutched-in to give a fellow Mustang a "courtesy rev" as I passed by him. I feathered the clutch back out into 5th gear and came to a stop light a few moments later, and it smelled like clutch. The second instance happened tonight when I was in reverse on an incline out of a parking spot. I did not feel like I was riding/slipping the clutch with crazy revs or anything. Anyone else have a similar experience with your manual 2015? Maybe it is time to remove the clutch assist spring?
Thanks!
