Those headers look mint Would love sound files or more you tube clips.
Must get to making sound files. I need to do them professionally otherwise , you do not get an accurate idea.

Streetfighter website is now live with more pics and pricing. We will start to add sound files very soon.

Looks pretty shiny

$1,400 for the headers isn't too bad.

I had the full system on my VE, but I never felt the sound files did the real thing justice. I know videos can never be 100% accurate, but hopefully you can improve on capturing the lower frequencies!

Serious question, could the headers be mated up to standard exhaust?

Interested in peak efficiency without extra sound.

Yes.

You would need the Streetfighter headers and cat sections to meet up with your standard rear sections.

Some graphs and pics showing how much the standard headers are holding up power on the Australian Mustangs.
This vehicle is direct , dealer delivered with 21 km .
The graph below shows Standard power vs Custom Tuning with standard exhaust system vs Custom Tuning with Streetfighter Full Exhaust System.

You can see how the standard Australian delivered headers allow little gains when uptuning. As soon as we replaced the standard headers with our Streetfighter 1 17/8 system, power increased dramatically by a further 20 rwkw and 50nm across the complete graph.

Hi David, not trying to be clever here but you can you please explain what I'm missing here?
Your website shows that the full exhaust and tune will deliver 90 odd Kws at the engine which is a bit more than what you're showing here. I realise we're talking rear wheel this case, but I'm obviously missing something.
Can you please elaborate on the differences?
Cheers.

Those headers good great, nice work, in regard's to the dyno, the gains aren't too bad, the increase of Nm between 2900-3700 rpm over stock is a nice improvement..

But we need to hear it... keep us updated when you get the sound files done.

A good sounding exhaust add's 100kw in my head...

Fair question.
This car has 21km on clock and a dealer delivered vehicle.
The rear wheel gains were approx 10 to 15 kw down on vehicles that have done at least 500 kms.
We also have not done the airbox as yet on this vehicle which is good for another 10 kw.

Honestly I doubt you are going to get 10kw out of a cai, the stock cai really isn't that restrictive on the Mustang. Would love to be proven wrong but honestly from everything I have read you are probably looking at 3-5kw maximum consistent power.

Agree. Can you post up your findings once the Cai is installed?

Dont forget QJ that they will have the bonnet open when they dyno it....that means the stock airbox gets no ram air and the cai gets all the air it needs. Not a fair means of comparison and easy to make the cai appear to make extra kws.
Dynos are the ultimate smoke and mirrors apparatus.
That is not meant as a crack at Streetfighter, but just a general observation on dyno results.
