I have a 2021 GT, no performance package. My factory tires wore out on the inside really fast, apparently they don't always spend a lot of time on the alignment at the factory.
I have not been able to find the factory specs for a 2021 GT, previous posts say they are in the manual but that is not true, the manual only lists specs for the Mach 1 because it suggests changing them for the track vs street. But I found specs for 2020 and 2022, but they are different and some of the differences don't make sense. Not sure why it is so hard to find. So my comments are based on interpolating between the two.
Here's what I had and what they changed it to (L/R):
Front Toe: -.24/-.26, now 0
Front Camber -1.2/-1.5, although the "after" measurement on the right was -1.7 even though it's not adjustable, is it common for them to vary that much?
Rear Toe: -.03/-.14, now .11,/.11
Rear Camber: -1.9/-1.8, now -.6/-.6
So both front and rear were toed out, which accounts for my tires; the current toe looks right on spec.
The front camber spec is a little on the high side, especially on the right, good for the track and I assume it's fine for the street too.
For the rear camber, the printout says the initial values were out of spec, although I'm not sure that's the case. Either way it was on the high side, but now it may be below spec which could adversely affect handling. I think he did this for wear purposes. He said the rear is a real pain, I wish he wouldn't have touched it or at least gone down that much. This is supposedly the best shop in town.
Should I make him change the rear camber or just leave it since I don't track the car anymore? If so I would need the real spec. Anyone know where I can find that?
