I was heading down the entrance ramp to the highway going to work, giving it the usual Italian tune-up. At the bottom of the on-ramp, every blinkenlight lights up on the dash, and into limp mode I go. Fortunately there's this handy place to pull off away from traffic a quarter mile down the road, and the wait starts. Throwing codes P2111 and P2119, I called two tow companies, both quote me 2-3 hour waits. Luck is on my side and I only have to wait an hour, and one day and a new throttle body later, I'm back on the road. Kudos to CrossRoads Ford Apex NC.

The unfortunate reality of modern cars. Lots of things that couldn't really fail before (at least not in a way that would require a tow truck) now can. Isn't it great?

Right, it's all a network of actuators and sensors talking to computers. Sure is fun when they're all working, tho.
