Hey All -

Is Steedas kit the only way to go? Are there other brands or options that will help fix wheel hop without going all in on the ultimate kit?

Thank you!!

BMR sells similar products. People on here say good things about them, I personally use Steeda and am very happy. They also have a strong presence on this forum if you have questions or issues, and seem to take very good care of their customers.

I bought *only* the Steeda rear end braces for $400 CDN. No alignment, installed on the car in about an hour and solved 90% of the hop. It wasn't worth it to spend far more to deal with the rest.

for the braces and rear control arms i'll be going bmr as they seem to be beefier.

BMR CB010 cradle lockouts with the BMR 762 chassis brace and centering sleeves worked great for me… zero complaints.

Running Steeda and BMR components on my 2019 GT350. Both produce excellent products.
All of which bolted in easily.

I'm very happy with my Steeda hardware. It's well made and more importantly, well supported. People speak very highly of BMR, and they have a complete competing catalog with equivalent parts for what Steeda sells. I can't speak to their hardware or support, but I like the fact that TJ is on the form very frequently, and you can email them or call and get a fast response to any issues you may encounter. They are also very helpful in planning future mods and setup to meet your goals.

I went Steeda a friend went BMR.

They both work. I like the way the steeda kit fits better than the bmr option. I also like the way the Steeda braces triangulate the sub-frames together.

Hello. What about for convertibles with MR? I asked on the Steeda website (contact us), but didn't get a reply. Is there a package that either fits the convertible, or deletes and lowers the price w/o braces? Seems like those would be one of the more expensive parts of the kit, and a waste to buy them and have them sit. Any vert owners recco something?

Thanks!

Everything Steeda here. I have the Ultimate stop the hop kit which did phenomenal until I used the transbrake feature in the 10r80. When I launched, it sent the pinion into the floorboard and ruined my alum driveshaft. That's when I added the Differential Support Brackets and that really made the differential stop moving around.

I’m a Diff. Support Bracket user as well and I don’t see how it couldn’t possibly improve things.
