For all the nay-sayers.... SCT canned tune, JLT cold air, MF street CB and stock, factory, worn Pirelli Pzeros @ 20 psi.

Yep, his car was hooking and booking on the P-zeros. I didn't know it at the time, but Adam had dialed my tune back quite a bit. Looking at the data log, car ran a 12.77 @ 108 on 19-20# of boost :eyebulge:. There were a few transient spikes to 23-24, but avg was 19-20. 3rd gear looks like 19.1-19.6 all the way through the time stamps...lol.

I did get to see the time slip for the new stock turbo record holder, and the 60ft is to die for...lol. She will post up the details tomorrow, but that car was hooking HARD.

Hell, it's almost worth it to buy another one from Ford and use them as a poor man's set of skinnies..lol. Helluva lot cheaper than Race Stars, that's for sure.

I got my rear 17x9 Racestars with a set of Hoosier slicks that have at least a season on them for $350. CHeck FB goups for local Mustang trader/craigslist, etc. Took awhile (after I already bought a cheap set with DR's), but worth it.

Here's my update, Big improvement over last week but practice makes perfect and I feel I can get a little bit more on the 60' but a 2.0 isn't bad for the second go at it. Convinced a tune is the way to 13s before the stock pirelli's wear out

BTW...I talked to Adam and was only set up for 18# of boost, yet you were only 5 mph faster than me. Slow ass GT :lol:.

Like I told you in the staging lanes...practice, practice, practice and you will get the hang of it. Great job on whittling the times down, especially for your first time at the track.

5mph in the 1/8th.... Lol 7mph in 1/4, and half sec on the ET lol. I only have a intake and box SCT tune... What do you have? ;-)

Get that thing running like a top and then come back down! 30psi tune! lol.

Not sure what you're referring to lol.

I generally run a 400 tree.. They don't really do it on test and tunes with the streetcar lanes.. Guess it's not everybody's forte. Lol!

Nah, won't take 30 psi to lay the smack down on you...lol. If we can sneak back up on 24-25#, that should be enough. I went 7.88 @ 88 with the initial E30 tune, missing my shift points and hitting the boost cut a touch. I thought it was a good run, but data logs showed a lot of throttle closures.

What do I have...less than half the cubic inches of your car. Gotta do anything I can to even the gap...:lol:. I'm still hoping to come back down Friday night with an improved tune, but still logging/revising.

Forced induction and DI makes a huge difference.. You better bring your A game... You know I'll be on mine hehe. Maybe I'll throw the long tubes on and have Ken throw me a temp tune together to show you what them 4 extra cylinders are all about! Lol just teasing you bud.. Let me know when.. I'll cruise out there anytime.
