Right!!!!!????
Yes, first dyno sheet is std and then I posted the sae a few posts later. I’ll do the same tomorrow. Ultimately all I care about is mph, stock was 118mph Hoping to see 122+ after, pending DA.

Are you sure you don't have those backwards? SAE reads lower than STD and the OP is higher than what you just posted...

I hit 166 this weekend on a stretch of road in Mexico. 5th gear at 7,900 to 8,000ish rpm. I wanted to be totally focused on the road at that speed and glanced down a the mph and a quick look at the rpm. Then shut it down. Car was not floating at all and was straight as an arrow when I hit the brakes. I had the AC on and the sofa seats on cool.

To stay on topic, I need to do a non-Torco dyno run.

Damn dude that takes some balls. The last ER you want to want to end up in is a Mexican ER LOL. Be careful.

I figure at 166 an ER won't be needed. A hearse, yes, ambulance, no. No more of that for me. Got it out of my system. Saving it for the track now.

Could you imagine hitting an armadillo or some small creature at 166mph with a front tire ?? You would be in for the ride of the short rest of your life. Glad your taking it to the track

This is one of the reasons I got rid of my 1100whp GT, going 190+ in a mustang with no cage or chute is a unique experience :eyebulge:

Here are a couple pulls from my car (stock) on 91 octane. Taken a year and a half apart, in vastly different weather (one in Feb 2016 (red) and the other in Sept 2017 (blue))

Has anyone ran the 1/4 on high octane? I would think 489 would be good for high 11s on a decent track with low DA.

Was the 489 SAE or STD corrected?
If you know the weather conditions, you can use this program to figure out the correction factor SAE or STD. If you have a dyno chart in STD, input the parameters, divide the results by the correction factor to get uncorrected results, then multiply by the SAE correction factor to get SAE results.

OP, please post the dyno chart with weather conditions (temp, barometer, humidity). Or you can send me the dyno files and I'll do it for you.

Ok guys, I just made a pull on the stock tune, full exhaust...gained 22whp & 19tq under the curve, 11whp & 17tq peak gains. Flashing in my PBD tune and exchanging datalogs with Ken Bjonnes now, will have more #’s to come

@ Burnin4, Are you using a 93 tune from Ken B. ? Or are you trying that flex tune ? or a version of it since Ken and Lund is not together anymore.

93 octane. I’ll look at an e85 tune or ms109 in the future

Ok folks, my results from today were pretty interesting, after tuning I made 487/412 (STD), which was a peak gain of 22whp and 28tq, but I gained 31whp under the curve in lower rpms as well as 30tq. At 3250rpms I jump up 70tq over the stock tune, she hits harder down low and carries it out to 8k. Ken Bjonnes was tuning remotely.
