Hey folks, I made a few pulls on the dyno today while she was still stock. A full American Racing exhaust will be installed in a few days and Ken Bjonnes/Palm Beach Dyno will be doing the tuning. Conditions were terrible, but pretty happy with the #'s, 93 degrees in the shop. I have stock dyno#'s now to go with my stock time slips, and I'll return back to the strip asap to generate a mph gain to go with post dyno #'s.

I am also having some BMR goodies installed, toe rods, vertical links, cradle bushing lockout, LCA bearing kit, Diff lockout kit, and a hardware upgrade kit, I'll report back on those upgrades as well.

Nice. I need to go back and do mine none race fuel. Mine pulled 489 on race fuel.

Did you have a custom tune for your race fuel? What kind of race fuel/unleaded?

I usually don't get caught up in dyno numbers, but like to match them up with mph from the strip, the combination of both gives an idea of starting and ending points.

No tune. The engine can apparently adjust for up to at least 100 octane. I mixed 93 with Torco to 100 octane, unleaded. I ran a full tank through before running the dyno on the second tank of 93 mixed with Torco. I have yet to dyno on just 93. I need to though to see the real numbers. I have zero mods.

Has anyone ran the 1/4 on high octane? I would think 489 would be good for high 11s on a decent track with low DA.

Was the 489 SAE or STD corrected?

My stock pull of 465'ish trapped 118mph, which is good for mid 11's with the right 60ft. A 489 pull on torco really doesn't tell us much, no before or after dyno #'s and time slips to show mph. Dyno #'s in general can be misleading based on conditions, correction factors, and type of dyno. It is good to know that our cars respond to adding a can of torco, but it's really hard to know the true gains without knowing the original starting point.

Sorry, I should have been more clear, 489 should be good for high 11s on stock tires with a reasonable 60 ft.

Ran my '03 Cobra to many 11.7xs with only 440ish rear wheel on the stock F1s. 03s are a couple hundred pounds lighter and had more torque when pullied, but you'd think an extra 30-40 HP rear wheel would make up for the weight, and a 305 could launch as well as 275 F1.

Of course 03s didn't have clutch protection in their tune, so maybe that's why I haven't seen any stock GT350s in the 11s.

My full American Racing exhaust (longtubes, xpipe w/cats, catback) was installed today, hoping to be on the dyno for tuning this Thursday. The sound couldn't be more perfect, very tame and conservative during normal driving, and crisp and clean during WOT, zero drone or harshness. I've made the mistake of reaching over to open up the valves because the sound is shockingly conservative on start up or normal driving.

Stock baseline average was 465/385, excited to see the gains, Ken Bjonnes will be doing the remote tuning. The car also drove perfect on the stock tune, no stumbling or drivability issues on the drive home today. We'll be doing a pull with the full exhaust on the stock tune, then the custom tuning directly after. I'll be following up the dyno numbers with et's & mph within the next 1-2 weeks as well.

I also had some BMR parts installed, toe rods, vertical links, lca bushings, cradle bushing lockout kit, a diff lockout kit, and a Hardware upgrade. She feels much more planted, more control, no harshness's vibrations or unpleasant sounds from any of the upgrades, definitively adds to the overall driving experience. She's definitely putting the power to the ground, can't wait to see my 60's as well. Hopefully Weld releases a set of lightweight wheels in the near future, she's gonna hurt some feelings.

Very nice :) I just ordered a set of Kooks and the Xpipe /no cats. I will leave the OEM mufflers in place. Thinking it should come out pretty nice. Going to run the flex tune from Lund.

Should be fun :) In for your number when you get her finished.
