Ford, do you have a tracking # for my intake? With all of the Matthew excitement here in FL trying to see where it is. Thanks!

Thanks Ford, timing is everything! It just showed up at my door! It looks great, if all goes well I will get it installed this weekend. Hate to wait but dealing with home repair issues....

Going back to stock tube (will still be running the PCV delete/ catch can) for now due to throttle body Field Service Action/ Recall. This will also give me a chance to see how well the stock tube works with the snorkel.

Sorry to say no Ford, I am now at 450 miles.... I want to get over 1000 and take a stock 0-60 baseline before I mod. On the to do list is the new grill and big mouth as well as stereo work so I am jumping on that ASAP. I will post here when it is on.

Again, thanks for your craftsmanship!

Went back to the MIT recently. There is a night/day difference in driveability (even with the snorkel). It's safe to assume the stock tube is not optimal at all for the V6. For those who haven't done this mod yet, it is definitely worth your while.

If your removing the PCV system there is no need for a oil separator any more because you are eliminating the designed path of the air entering and the air exiting the crank case. Once removed you will get air exiting both breathers on the valve covers at high RPM's and at low RPM's air can enter. your going to eventually saturate the breather element and it will start dripping oil. I've been building race motors for 30 years and end up replacing breathers when they start leaking. This is why a lot of race cars evacuate the crank case into the headers.

I think for a daily driver your best bet is to use the oil separator. The little bit of warm air entering the motor isn't going to add up to anything worth wild. Plus you will have a nice clean engine compartment.

Just need a breather on the driver side valve cover, and cap off the other vent at the firewall
