Just need a breather on the driver side valve cover, and cap off the other vent at the firewall
Would the driver side PCV breather get oil under my hood? Sorry, I'm new to engine mechanics to be honest and am unsure of the consequences of eliminating these 2 things.

no, the driver side breather does not get oil anywhere..the passenger side will however.. that's why I run a jlt seperator

If your removing the PCV system there is no need for a oil separator any more because you are eliminating the designed path of the air entering and the air exiting the crank case. Once removed you will get air exiting both breathers on the valve covers at high RPM's and at low RPM's air can enter. your going to eventually saturate the breather element and it will start dripping oil. I've been building race motors for 30 years and end up replacing breathers when they start leaking. This is why a lot of race cars evacuate the crank case into the headers.
No issues here with oil spray. I used a remote breather w/ a catch can on the passenger side to be on the safe side since there is more wires on that side. Driver's side breather filter is still clean with no oil spray and the catch can I used on the passenger side only had residue in it rather than actual oil (after my first oil change). Both breather filters are still clean, the baffles in the valve covers help out a lot with this. Been doing this on many cars with excellent results and cleaner intake manifolds.

How much does your tube run? And does it include just the tube? I am very interested!

So I ordered my 4in intake tube, intake couplers, k&n drop in filter(installed already) and k&n breather filter. Tube will be here today and the breather will be here friday. Just need to get to lowes to purchase a hose clamp and a fitting to plug the line at the T on the firewall! Excited to get this done!

I am curious about the pipe size where it mates to the throttle body. Bizkets and Feedits seem to be much larger that the Ford 550 version. How will this matter with a 80mm throttle body? Will the Ford550 or stock tube be usable with an 80mm tb?

You should be fine using another 4inch coupler at the throttle body when using the GT 80mm TB.

Clean install, very good. Can't tell in the pictures but did you also block off the big port on the intake manifold as well?
