Anybody know the torque specs for the T40 torx bolts on the steering knuckle??

Installation

1.* Install*the*steering*column*upper*shaft.

1.* NOTICE:*Do*not*reuse*steering*column*shaft*bolts.*This*may*result*in*fastener*failure*and steering*column*shaft*detachment*or*loss*of*steering*control.*Failure*to*follow*this instruction*may*result*in*serious*injury*to*vehicle*occupant(s). Connect*the*upper*shaft*to*the*steering*column.

2.* Install*the*bolt. Torque:*22*lb.ft*(30*Nm)

Any chance you know the torque specs for the driveshaft bolts on the transmission side (I know the pinion side specs)?? Thanks!

Installation

1.* NOTE:*If*equipped. Inspect*the*flex*coupling*for*cracks.*If*cracks*are*present,*replace*the*flex*coupling.

2.* NOTICE:*The*help*of*a*assistant*may*be*needed.*Do*not*over*articulate*the*driveshaft*or*damage may*occur. NOTE:*Align*the*flex*coupling*before*installing*the*center*bearing*bolts.

Install*the*driveshaft*and*the*new*driveshaft*center*bearing*bolts. Torque:*35*lb.ft*(48*Nm)

3.* NOTICE:*Do*not*over*articulate*the*driveshaft*or*damage*may*occur.

NOTE:*Do*not*force*the*flex*coupling*bushing*on*the*transmission*output*shaft*or*damage*will*occur. If*equipped*with*3*bolt*flex*coupling.

1.* Align*the*index*mark*on*driveshaft*flex*coupling*to*the*transmission*flange.

2.* Install*the*new*driveshaft*flex*coupling*to*transmission*flange*bolts. Torque:*81*lb.ft*(110*Nm)

4.* NOTICE:*Do*not*over*articulate*the*driveshaft*or*damage*may*occur. If*equipped*with*4*bolt*flange.

1.* Align*the*index*mark*on*driveshaft*to*the*transmission*flange.

2.* Install*the*new*driveshaft*to*transmission*flange*bolts.

Torque:*80*lb.ft*(109*Nm)

Removal
NOTICE: Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the performance of vital components and
systems. Failure of these fasteners may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts
if replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser quality or substitute design. Tighten
fasteners as specified.
1. NOTICE: Disconnect the battery ground cable anytime the steering gear is being serviced or
damage to the steering gear internal power relay may occur resulting in steering gear replacement.
Disconnect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (41401
Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).
2. Remove the front wheel bearing and hub assembly.
Refer to: Front Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub (20401
Front Suspension, Removal and Installation).
3. Remove the brake disc shield.
Refer to: Brake Disc Shield (20603
Front Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
4.
1. Remove the front wheel speed sensor bolt.
2. Position the front wheel speed sensor aside.

5. NOTICE: Do not use a hammer to separate the outer tierod
end from the wheel spindle or damage
to the wheel spindle may result.
NOTICE: Use care when installing the tie rod separator or damage to the outer tierod
end boot may
occur.
1. Remove and discard the tie rod end nut.
2. Disconnect the tie rod end from the wheel spindle.
Use the General Equipment: Tie Rod End Remover

6. Remove and discard the front lower arm outboard nut.

7. NOTICE: Do not use a prying device or separator fork between the ball joint and the wheel spindle.
Damage to the ball joint or ball joint seal may result. Only use the pry bar by inserting it into the
lower arm body opening.
NOTICE: Use care when releasing the lower arm and wheel spindle into the resting position or damage to the ball joint seal may occur.
Separate the front lower arm from the wheel spindle.
Use Special Service Tool: 204592
Separator, Lower Arm Ball Joint.

8. Remove and discard the rear lower arm outboard nut.

9. NOTICE: Do not use a prying device or separator fork between the ball joint and the wheel spindle.
Damage to the ball joint or ball joint seal may result. Only use the pry bar by inserting it into the
lower arm body opening.
NOTICE: Use care when releasing the lower arm and wheel spindle into the resting position or
damage to the ball joint seal may occur.
Separate the rear lower arm from the wheel spindle.
Use Special Service Tool: 204592
Separator, Lower Arm Ball Joint.

10.
1. Remove and discard the 2 struttowheel
spindle bolts and nuts.
2. Remove the wheel spindle.

Installation
1.
1. Position the wheel spindle.
2. Install the 2 new struttowheel
spindle bolts and nuts.
Torque: 184 lb.ft (250 Nm)


2.
1. Attach the rear lower arm to the wheel spindle.
2. Install the new rear lower arm outboard nut.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)

3.
1. Attach the front lower arm to the wheel spindle.
2. Install the new front lower arm outboard nut.
Torque: 85 lb.ft (115 Nm)

4.
1. Attach the tie rod end to the wheel spindle.
2. Install the new tie rod end nut.
Torque: 59 lb.ft (80 Nm)

5.
1. Position the front wheel speed sensor.

2. Install the front wheel speed sensor bolt.
Torque: 133 lb.in (15 Nm)

6. Install the brake disc shield.
Refer to: Brake Disc Shield (20603
Front Disc Brake, Removal and Installation).
7. Install the front wheel bearing and hub assembly.
Refer to: Front Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub (20401
Front Suspension, Removal and Installation).
8. Connect the battery ground cable.
Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (41401

9. Check and if necessary adjust front camber.
