IRS knuckle bushings

I have a squeak in the rear and I’m in the middle of replacing the lower control arm bushings because they are cracked dry rotted etc. The car has 25k miles on it 2017gt, the knuckle bushings don’t look terrible but the elasticity allows me to move it around with finger alone. I want to replace both bushings on the knuckle but cannot find both only the one. Ford and steeda both said that I might just have to replace the whole knuckle, but why would I be able to replace one and not both? I am replacing all the bushings, toe link, camber arm, the whole 9 yards. I found everything but the 1 knuckle bushing. I would like to see what your thoughts are and if I could get a part number for a replacement for this.

I’m not sure if you are aware, but the bush closest to the camera is a spherical bearing.

Your toe link bush is rubber.

The toe link bush is available with a spherical upgrade.

I’m not sure if those two sphericals are the same size ? (It would make sense / be nice if they were).

If you weren’t aware that you were comparing a spherical bearing to a rubber bush, it might explain why they feel different when wiggling them around by hand.

What about the other bushing? I can find this one but not the other

well the bushing is the part I can’t find. So if you have more information on a replacement part for that, that would be helpful. The bushing is the one I can’t find. I don’t care for lessons on what properties a bearing or bushing have, the elasticity of the bushing isn’t what it’s suppose to be. I wasn’t comparing the two I was only stating that the one could be grabbed from the center sleeve and wiggled around because the elasticity is gone in the bushing. Thanks.

also before you correct someone on what a part is called maybe be 110% sure your right. Bushing or bearing. I was correct calling it a bushing. The replacement is a bearing thanks.

You stated that the one closest to the camera was a spherical bearing, which it’s not. The replacement is. So that’s 1 info you got wrong and that’s what you tried to correct me on as well which it is a bushing but the replacements are bearings.

Just an FYI, the only bushing in your picture is the furthest one away. The circled one is a bearing, as was already stated. We provided a link to the one that allows you to replace it with a bearing. These are all spherical bearings pictured. Maybe don't pick a fight with someone on the forum trying to provide you with free information, when they are correct.

if from factory it’s not considered a bushing like your implying, tell me what properties a bearing has? Because this factory bushing has no balls or bearings inside. The replacements might but these do not. Hints to why I called it a bushing because it doesn’t physically have the properties of a bearings (no balls or rollers or bearings). Everything I find states it’s a bearing replacement for the factory bushing. But regardless I need good information about replacement part numbers not really the technical name for something but thanks for trying anyways.

Yes, thank you for providing a better picture of a spherical bearing. It's designed to move like that, that's how spherical bearings work. We are moving on.

As was already stated, that one (farthest away in first photo) is a factory spherical bearing. The Ford bearings come with a nice concave rubber boot on each side, so at first glance it looks like a rubber bushing, especially when it is dirty.

This supplied photo below proves it, because it is rotated and you can more easily see the rubber boot.

Anyway, there is no need to replace that one, and none of us do. You might be having trouble sourcing it, because the factory LCA comes with the bushings and bearings already installed.
