Steeda Ultralite - Uneven Drop

Hey guys. I just lowered my car on Steeda Ultralite springs and the rear looks to be noticeably lower than the front. But the front drop was supposed to be larger (1.125" front, 1" rear). Anyone else experience this? Did it level out once they settled? The rear seems like it dropped more than the stated 1" so I doubt the front would ever match it.

It does seem a bit lower in the back , I would try reaching out to steeda see what they have to say

I was going to say check the rubber piece on the spring perch but that looks like a bad spring. Who did install?

They're both that low, though. And the car seems to be riding perfectly, even over bumps and things. I'd imagine if the install was done incorrectly, I'd have noticed clunking or something like it.

In the rear the drivers side looks very unhealthy as far as that spring goes. The passenger rear looks normal. And when you get in the car remember the drivers side drops even more.

I really think they're equal in the rear. What do you think after seeing this pic compared to the other side above?

Go and measure. On even pavement like your garage take a tape measure and take from the pavement up through center cap of wheel to the bottom of fender well. I promise the drivers side will be at least a 1/2" different that the passenger side. Unless that pic is tricking me it is lower on drivers side.

In one of the CJ Pony Parts videos, he says the way Ford designed the car makes it look that way. He said the rear wheel wells sit lower to the ground than the front. So in this video he installs springs to cover it a raked look.

Looks about how mine did, the gap in the front of the car was much larger than the rear in the factory, the steeda springs make it less of a difference, but it still doesn't give it a full on rake'd stance.

youll want a bit more room in the front, if you were a ton lower and you hit a bump while taking a corner, well goodbye front fender.

Same thing when I had Ultralites-the drop in the front just isn't enough. I switched mine out for Sportlines.

It's an optical illusion. The front is lower, but it appears higher because of the built in reverse rake. For some reason mine looks more level, but I think it's because I have shorter tires and it's harder to see.

I installed mine about two weeks ago with the BMR CB005. I think mine looks pretty dead even. Maybe a hair higher up front, but I'm very happy with them. I had a lot of doubts because of the uneven drop but mine turned out great. I've heard the CB005 might raise the rear up a little, so that might have helped. I'd really like to point out steedas customer service was completely awesome too. I even called because we were installing 3 sets of springs that day (steeda ultralite, BMR performance, eibach sportline ) and the BMR and eibach have their names printed "up" on the spring, where steeda it can go either way, which is confusing, and the steeda spring sits reeeeaaalllly weird in the front shock. They helped us out and told us that was normal before it compressed (BMR and eibach didn't do that) so we went with it. And everything worked out great!

I have the same issue, rear is a bit lower then the front, it looks shite.

Here is steeda answer
I touched base with HQ. Apparently some cars sit lower in the rear than others and it can be "adjusted" via a simple installation fix that David can do, by rotating the rear springs a little.
