Just installed mine this afternoon. For the life of me, I don't see how someone could install these fronts upside down. The bushing for the top won't even fit in the smaller bottom hole. Maybe if you greased it up and hammered it in, but it doesn't just drop in place.

Went for a quick ride before the alignment shop tomorrow. Feels much better in curves now and much less bounce. Not sure if they are breaking in or if I was just getting use to them, but the short 10 mile drive felt much different at the end.
Curious to know how much it changes the alignment since it still drives straight as it did before the swap.

You should wait about a week to get an alignment. Let the spring settle in.

As a rough guess, front cambers went about half a degree further negative (per inch of lowering) and the front toes went a tiny bit closer to zero. Not sure what would have happened out back.

Can you describe a little more about how the feel changed from the beginning of your short drive to the end of it?

At first, it was very bouncy, now not as long of a travel of bounce as stock, but short firm bounces. Near the end it smoothed out a good bit.

Right at 4 hours start to finish, including clean up of my tools and driveway. I used the rental spring compressors from Autozone and they did the job, but really sucked since the spring base on the strut is so large and they are basically long bolts. If I had that fancy one on the CJ Pony video, it would cut an hour off the job.
Also keep in mind, I'm 53, very over weight with spinal stenosis. Moving quickly is not on my agenda. Oh, and this morning is a "better living through modern chemistry" day!

Don't even have a car yet but this will be my first mod to it for looks. I've read every page here, and I want to get this straight. These make daily driving better and not jaw jarring? I live in OK and our roads can be horrendous at times. This will be my daily driver and don't want to have a sore neck after driving down some of our crappy highways.

Been reviewing these threads and am more confused than ever. Have a 2015 Ecoboost PP. Been thinking about the progressive springs to lower the car and to even out the ride. Car is my daily driver so I don't want anything to harsh. Will the progressives lower the car and help with the occasional bounciness? Any other mods I should consider?

That's exactly what will happen with the progressive springs, the initial ride is a bit choppy but after the springs settle the ride smoothes out considerably. The linear springs are more designed for the track.

Thanks for answering. Every lowering springs I've ever used were to help adjust suspension for AutoX, so was worried about them being to stiff for daily driving.

No worries, they're very smooth for daily driving. I've ridden in kidney busters set up for autoX. Nothing like that.

Im with ya bro, turned 52 2 weeks ago, so I figure 4 to 6 hours for me. Back is still okay, good with my hands and following instructions, but always just paid to get stuff done. I building in some rookie time to compensate reading over each step 2 or 3 times. Following the measure 2x, cut once strategy ;)

You guys with GT non PPs....I am getting some clunking from the front, sounds like just the driver side.

We installed them with the correct side up. Gonna have to pull them and check they are seated properly(which we did during install).

Anyone experienced this?

And the front will for sure settle lower. Mine sure did.
