Before you pull anything apart, check all of the nuts at the top of the struts/strut towers, especially the big ones on the struts themselves.

This! Years ago I did a strut swap on my minivan and had the same issue. Firestone (took it there for alignment after the work) wanted to charge me to pull the strut out and put it on their compressor and tighten the nut. I called bull shit and bought the special wrench and socket to do it on the car. Took me all of 30 seconds. And they were going to nail me for over $125 in labor. Firestone lost a customer for life at that point. I wouldn't even let them put air in my tires if I had a flat on the side of the road. Before you pull anything apart, check all of the nuts at the top of the struts/strut towers, especially the big ones on the struts themselves.

Definitely check this, I had a strut bolt come loose a few months after buying my car. Took it to the dealership and they fixed her right up!Before you pull anything apart, check all of the nuts at the top of the struts/strut towers, especially the big ones on the struts themselves.

What's the verdict? I've got some clunking as well and am curious if what you did resolved the issue. Thanks guys. We already tried hitting it with an impact followed by checking with a torque wrench. Also re-checked the end links with a torque wrench and the 3 up top for the plate.
Thank you!I'll touch-base with the team in the morning.
Haven't gotten around to taking them off yet. Are the people experiencing clunking non PP cars? We double checked everything during the install and have since made sure everything is torqued correctly. What's the verdict? How often do you hear it. and how loud is it?I am not accepting this as normal. I road in a friend's car which is also lowered(not steeda) and it is silent
