I recently installed just about every suspension component Steeda sells on my 2019 pp1 mustang and I am extremely happy with the performane. (FYI customer service is probably one of the best out there) However, I have a rattle/thud in front suspension when I hit bumps but not all the time. The set up is progressive lowering springs, pro action adjustable shocks, camber plates, sway bars, steering bump kit, front rear control arm with lower ball joint and end links. (I have a bunch of Steeda parts on it as well.) so after reading some post about other members having similar problem, here is the approach I took. I thought the rubber spring insulator was a little off so I pulled everything apart replaced it put everything back together still getting noise. Next I replaced strut nut, installed new lock washer and applied blue lock tite. Note I installed but with impact gun. I tried torquing this utilizing the specific sockets that have the window in them but the 11 mm wrench does not properly fit the strut stem hex. It is extremely sloppy fit and the wrench eventually slipped rounding the hex. After replacing but still have noise. Called Steeda told Brian what I did he said check end links. I actually pulled end links off and ball joints felt like they had too much play. (FYI only have 200 miles on this set up) I was looking at other end links for hell of it as I really like heim joints. Found Eibach made a pair. Ordered them installed took for ride seemed better. After about 20 miles staring to hear again. Note in Steeda end links like the strut the 11mm wrench rounds the stem when try to torque them. Another reasoned I like Eibach as a 12mm bolts is used to install them and can be properly torqued. At this point just very frustrated and wondering if others here ever found there probalem. FYI I do live in Long Island my and the roads suck. Is it just the noise of the strut? Is it bottoming out? Is the spring slights coming off rubber inslulator? Again Steeda performance has been great, car handles awesome. Any suggestions? Thanks
