Any updates on this? ... seems like the pedal is too low more than not wide enough so I like B.Crowders idea.

Any chance of Steeda coming up with a thicker pedal??

Just added these pedal to my car. I already have 3 nylon spacers under the pedal assembly, but the height difference to the brake pedal was still too high for me. Even with my size 13 shoe I also felt that the pedal were to far apart laterally.
My car is a PP car and had the extra metal pedal cover. After removing that I added a few 1/4 inch nylon spacers between the new pedal cover and plastic pedal lever. If I were to do it again (and I may) I think I would go even larger with the spacers.

For what it's worth, I also added a tiny strip of grip tape to the right side and bottom portion of the brake pedal. I think that made an even greater improvement to heal and toe confidence than the grip tape on the gas pedal. Now the toe part of that equation doesn't feel like it is going to slip off the brake while the heal is blipping the throttle. Hopefully the grip tape lasts for a while.
