In real life, not really. In a movie, I would of liked them too. Like Tarken was old and looked like that typical old crusty general that just wants to kill every opposing lifeform and not give a single fuck about it. The ginger was just some guy who seemed in his twenties that some how is the top tier leader of the First Order?

If you remember from Ep. IV there were multiple generals and leaders and the Empire was force in the galaxy that was built out of the Republic. Senators who sided with the Emperor were given favor and allowed to gain power.
With the First Order it is not some massive military entity, it's the remnants of the Empire that didn't dissolve...so it's really just a shell of it's former self and they are probably promoting anyone with an ounce of ambition. I'm assuming that Hux is but one General out of many and not necessarily the overall military leader. Without any backstory to go off of there's only conjecture.

I understand the point of the character, and they portrayed that greatly. However, before TFA, when I thought Sith I though evil, rule the galaxy and kill all who oppose type people. Then Kylo Ren comes along and there's nothing evil about him at all. Just that emo teenager mentality with a lightsabre instead of razor blades.

It's been said by JJ that he is not an established Sith. He's basically a Sith fanboy who wants to very badly be what his grandfather was but he has no direction, not much self control, and in the end Snoke says it's time to complete his training which tells me that his development as the Bad Guy is still forthcoming.

But, these are all just opinions, and we'll get more answers in May 2017.

Or a Kenobi.....On a limb here, but why have all the other actors used a normal accent but her and Kenobi use the queen's tongue?

And she was quick on the mind trick..just like grandpa.

I like the Kenobi theory too but they'll need to do some serious hole filling in about Obi-Wan and if he had any children in order to have a grandchild.

I'm going to reference The Clone Wars series again. Not really a significant spoiler, but there is a story arc involving Obi-Wan's "relationship" with a high born woman somewhere in the galaxy. If I remember corectly the purpose of the story IMO was to show a contrast between Obi and Anakin. Obi-Wan was able to keep his vows unlike Anakin. Although if I were Anakin I'd break a 100 oaths to get into that (Padme).;)
