There's some hope as JJ Abrams is back at the helm and not Rian Johnson, but I don't know if episode 9 can be saved without retconning much of episode 8 which was such a HUGE disappointment.

I was hoping someone more knowledgeable would have piped up.
8 seemed all over the place; I enjoyed the action. 8 never showed the Knights of Ren. I'm to understand that Rian Johnson did things that was not "planned" in 8.
I would like to see Rey's parent(s) was/were Sith and she's good (gray) instead of the good going evil. I hope Rey is Not pregnant. This guy here has an interesting theory. It sound realistic so it will probably happen.

Rey is a clone. Her memories were implanted. That's why they're so general. At the age she was left on the planet she would remember her family. She was a body for Palpatine to hide in. After the destruction of the death star, defeat of the remnants and the revelation of Palpatine's secret lab on Jaku she was left with Unkar until the transplant could be done but the plot fell apart

Kenobi lied to Luke quite a bit.
So Rey has the ability to absorb powers and skills. She's done this twice to Ren. So was she able to do this with Snoke? She couldn't absorb any of Luke's because he disconnected himself from the Force.
Double bladed saber for Rey
They cancelled the comic "Shadows of Vader" WTF? Ooops changed the subject there for a moment.
Rey is related to Kenobi, naw. Is Rey cloned from the hand of Luke Skywalker or is she a clone of Palpatine?
Deaging technology on Mark Hamill for 9, wonder where that will go?
