I saw it yesterday. It was RUSHED (the pace of the movie); if you've saw it you know what I mean. In the first 5 minutes Kylo has <> the <>, <> and <> <> (So after the "Galaxy Far Far Away" you better be in your seats and ready to roll). They should Not have chopped the movie down to 2 and a half hours (I would like to see the Director's Cut). They should have let the actors act and let the story line flesh itself out. It would have been a Great movie.
The novelization comes out in March 2020 which will have the back story and fill in holes.

I saw it last night, as a guy who was 8 when he watched the very first one back in 1977, I thought this last film was a bit rushed feeling, but they crammed a lot in to tie up the plot and I love how they did it. Don't watch any of the downer fan videos on YT, those millenials picking it and Disney apart for no real reason will spoil this for ya, but for this old OG, it all made sense and I got from it what I wanted, which was a real movie ending, not something left up to your imagination.

I enjoyed it. I saw it in IMAX on Thursday and 3D on Friday. It looked fantastic in 3D.

It jumps in and keeps going. The end was satisfactory. I felt a bit sad knowing the 3 original trilogy characters have concluded their run. I was glad they worked Carrie Fisher in as much as they did.

I will see it at least one more time in the theater. And at some point, I want to do a marathon viewing of all nine in a row.

In the meantime, enjoying The Mandalorian too!

It had issues, like all the sequel trilogy movies did, but somehow it worked better than it had any right to. I want to see it again.

I saw it twice. A great way to end the trilogy which should never have been made in the first place. IMHO

As a long time fan, I have seen all movies n opening day. I have seen the animated movie, The entire seasons of rebels, clone wars and the resistance and mandalorian before going to this last star wars movie. I come away with two complaints. 1. the last jedi can be thrown out as useless to the entire movie story line except explaining the whole kylo and rey force connection. Other then that it was a big two hour space chase with a useless casino part. 2. (A bit spoilery but then again you have either seen it by now or are here looking for info LOL) The whole ending of the saga, the whole ending of the force and the 40 year adventure, the end of the empire and the emperor. (Not to mention he somehow built 1000s of star destroyers and no one had a clue???? it would have taken millions of workers) all came down to destroying an antenna!!! seriously... the whole fate of a unstoppable fleet of 1000s of mini deathstars (yes think about it they still went back to yet another death star, 1000s actually, to destroy) came down to an antenna? seriously.

But other then that they actually did a good just with what they were left with from last jedi in finishing it up. And I liked they actually went a bit evil with the emperor and actually made him scary.

Rumor has it that they will show a JJ cut. I can't believe that this will come out at movie theaters but probably on BlueRay.
