Stapmed pony under hood missing?

The front of the hood slopes down quite a bit more on the 18+ starting at around the latch.

Huh thats weird ill have to take a better look at my hood but i know when i first bought the car i ran a carfax & didnt see anything about any damage? Cant imagine they only came on the 2016 ecoboost & not the gt's? Now im wondering if my car has maybe been wrecked or smthen & my hood was replaced? Does anyone else out there have a 2016 gt that doesnt have the pony stamped under the hood?

Can we get some close up pics of the hardware that holds the hood to the hinge? Usually those nuts will have “witness marks” where they have been turned by a tool if they have been removed. At the factory, they are usually painted while already assembled, so it is seamless. Most body shops will not go to the trouble of trying to hide their work. Also, some panels will have a sticker that says “DOT-R” if a panel has been replaced, but I’m not sure if the cheap knock off parts will have that. There may be other identifying marks on the OEM hood that could be missing from an aftermarket part, but I’m not familiar enough with it to know.

My 2016 GT premium with August 2015 build date has it. My replacement hood from the corrosion warranty also has it.

I will take some better pics but since not one person has said they didnt have the pony stamp im thinking the hood must have been replaced? I guess at least they did a good job matching the paint haha. Ill take some pics of the hood bolts & look if i can find any part num or anything on it.

I will see if my 2016 GT PP has it when I get my Whipple installed in the new year. According to the installation instructions, the hood insulation needs to be removed.
