I went to a local tire shop inquiring how much they would charge me to install my Steeda Springs. After the tech got finished admiring my car he said probably around 600-700 bucks with the alignment. He also said that they don't have the alignment specs for this car because its so new. That price seems pretty high to me. Can anyone chime in? I live in Central Jersey. I want to get these installed. Anybody have any suggestions on where I can take my car to?

Hell I wish you were in Michigan, I'd install them for you and hook you up with an alignment shop for an additional $100! It is a pretty annoying job but that does seem very pricey, also I had to give them the alignment specs myself, the eibach pdf's that they have online have the OEM alignment specs

I can understand about not having the alignment specs for the car yet, but that price just seemed way to high.

I was quoted $295 for the install today, less alignment.

I just got springs, IRS brace, and Gtrac brace done for 450. +95 for alignment (no in house alignment at this shop). I ran into the same specs issue on alignments. Seemed like Firestones had the specs where other places like mr. Tire, etc did not.

I may try a Firestone shop. The STS Tire I went to quoted me that insane price.

Did you think about using a Ford Dealer? Alignment specs should not be a mystery either, they have been out since the car has.

I would think that the dealer would be really expensive.

Do you have an idea on what that rate is?

Why/how would a Ford dealer install aftermarket springs without giving you an earful.

Oh I don't know because it's work in a bay that keeps the light on. The service department is the profit center of a New Car Dealer  This is why most car dealers sell performance parts today, to write more service tickets and keep techs busy with easy work.
