Does anyone know if there is a way to reprogram the shifting pattern when in the Sport mode? I like the acceleration, but the downshifts when coming up to a light is irritating. When shifting back into Drive, it just doesn't cut it....drives too soft and or boring. Would like to be able to fine tune a little.

Just get a custom tune. I don't find it necessary to shift into S like I used to in order to get the liveliness I'm looking for

^ OP has a GT, not eco. I think - his 'Drives' side bar is not that clear. It is either a GT or a Pontiac...

Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know much about tunes, but isn't 22 HP a bit low for a tune? I was under the impression they made 35HP or so....

22WHP? From an NA application, is not low at all. Normally, you see everyone advertise flywheel numbers. Which are always going to be much higher than wheel hp numbers. We do not broadcast or promote those numbers as they are not anywhere near as accurate as chassis dyno numbers.

No worries man! The forced induction cars get crazy gains because of the turbo(s), supercharger or NOS. Tuning is done more for 2 reasons:

1. To take advantage of whatever mods you put on or plan on putting on to the car. Because the ECU will only allow so much deviation from the settings that it left from Ford programmed with. So tuning will allow us to exploit the performance gains from your mods.

2. To make the shift points, shifting accuracy, throttle response and overall drive-ability of the car better.

If you have any more questions please feel free to give me a shout.
