I have one on my car Jasber. I can tell you install is pretty straight forward, requires drilling 3 holes in the top of the metal bumper for mounting. Can be used with stock intercooler hoses. Requires taking off the grill shutters. I don't think I have ever seen charge temps more that 20-25* over ambient. Recovers quickly. It's well made, hand welded by Speedfactory at their shop in the US. I wouldn't say it's the best, the Full race and levels are better, but their also more costly. For the price the speedfactory is hard to beat.

Thanks for the info! I'm not tracking or racing my EB (yet!) so I think this is an option. Searched around for any kind of install info (PDF or video) and can't find anything. Is the install similar to any others out there that I might find a vid for?

Yes. Front bumpers comes off, stock IC comes out, grill shudders out, crash bumper out. Mark 3 spots on the bumper and drill holes. Put the SF cooler on, then crash bumper. I left everything loose while I put on the charge pipes, then bolted the cooler to the crash beam and tightened the crash beam down. Hook up the MAP sensor plug and put the bumper back on. Took about 2 hours. The crash beam is pretty hard metal so you'll need a good drill bit.

I live here in Washington. These guys are pretty dam good at what they do. I just put the SFR CAI on my ecoboost and am driving down to Tacoma tommorow to pick up the IC. I'll try n put some kinda install video up on my YouTube channel "Kel Krst" once my lower grille delete gets here and I can do the install. If you go on their Facebook page they jus posted last week a pic of a mustang EB that only has their IC and CAI and they tuned it via APv3 to 350hp 380ft lbs. They're bad ass, can't wait to get this IC installed so I can have them dyno tune me as well! Dreading the install tho lol..but when I went n picked up the CAI they told me about customers driving down from Canada to get their EB tuned. So anyone interested in something other then your basic brands or tuners I'd definitely recommend these guys! Look at their YouTube channel, they have a Civic HB running 7sec 1/4 miles!!

I was looking at their intercoolers last week and thinking of picking one up. The build quality looks amazing, Thanks for the reviews.

So I picked up my Speed Factory Intercooler today. And I am happy AF! So first thing I noticed when I took it outta the ridiculously good packed box was the quality is second to Nome! For $599 I don't think there's anything out there thatscompeteing with this. If anyone's seen one of these intercoolers you've seen that the way it mounts is kinda odd and you have to drill 3 holes in the bumper support like someone posted above....But NOPE! Not anymore, this bad boy has been redesigned and is F N awesome. Now it mounts with the same bolts and same location as most others. I was just down there picking up my CAI less then a month ago and it was the old design so they had to of just changed it cause not even there website has the new one! For anyone interested I'll put a quick video up on my youtube first thing tommorow. Its Kel Krst, should be easy to find! I also talked to them about future products and charge pipes and exhaust are in the works...

Just purchased a front mount from them earlier today, excited to get it in. Great people to deal with, chatted with them some and they already got it shipped out. If anyone is in the market for map street core mine will be up forsale next week ;^)

So this is better than the Levels Street?
I don't think that has been proven, or disproven at this point. I'm not aware of any testing or datalogging that has been performed yet that shows charge temps after various runs, etc., such as what Juben and others have done with Levels, MAP, etc.

Actually there is! Go to speedfactoryracing.net. They have all the data log/ dyno charts etc on they're intercooler and CAI! Along with they're tunes and anything else they've done with their R&D on the EcoBoost platform.
I personally think yes, it is better then the Levels IC. That is just my opinion though based off both build quailtys and both of the companys data on these IC....

However if your just looking for the best intercooler period. I have a couple friends that have the ATM IC and I'd have to say that is one nice F N intercooler! If i wasnt so inpatient I would have def got one of those!
