Had an older guy at work say "make sure they are all facing down or the same way" does that make sense or even matter?
I assume he was pulling your leg and saying not to put the plugs in upside down. Otherwise it doesn't make sense

Well just read another thread and I think it's called indexing but the final result was that it didn't matter.

Ohh ok I see what he meant. Just looked it up, I never heard of that. It definitely wouldn't be possible to know what direction it's facing once you stick it all the way down in there and start screwing it in

We or "I" used to do this many years ago. I would mark the porcelain insulator of the plug to align in one direction..... Learned my lesson long ago, never listen to a friend that knows a guy that has a cousin, that has a friend and swears by it  .....you get the jest.

I tried tapping them on a hard service to close the gap. That what the you tube video said lol. The gap was not closing though. Am I doing something wrong?
Here's a link a post showing how to use an inexpensive gap adjusting tool to easily adjust the gap; http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showpost.php?p=685650&postcount=113 No need to tap the plug on anything. Also, if you go the first post of that thread; http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21317&highlight=Spark, you'll see the gap that Adam of MAPerformance suggests be used for the EBM and why.

This might sound dumb, it's four plugs correct? 1 per cylinder? And I just bought mine from torrie, another dumb question, do they come gapped?
