This was said to be a version of low-cost insurance, but insurance from what?

Just placed my Plug order from MAP. So I see it says gap to .028, does that change if I also put in the MMR CAI? or no need to change gap until I Tune?

No need to change the gap ever. Leave it at .028 and you will be solid for any configuration.

Evan - Toast!

Holy crap! I've never seen a plug come apart like that before. What happened to the strap electrode? Did the tip melt off?

Wait a minute! Didn't you say in your other thread that you brought the car to the dealer and they said it was bad gas? If I were you, after changing your plugs, I'd bring that one back to the dealer and show it to the service manager. Tell them that's why many people don't trust the dealer to work on their car.

I did take it too the dealer they were too concerned with my mods and i told him specifically to check my spark plugs he even told me that a P0303 is a fake code... After that I was like f$!# a warranty.

If you look at the plastic in the middle it was melted all the way to the middle of the plug i just got a temporary plug to get the car running normally im buying NGK 6510s for all the plugs later
