No worries, it comes with the wheel repair kit incase you get a flat. Plus 24/7 Roadside service is included in the warranty.

You can go to the parts department in any dealership and order the spare tire with the jack and lug wrench kit. It's somewhere like $200-250.

I am sure they will be available online soon too.

If I had the choice I'd rather pop the spare on in 5 minutes on the side of the road/parking lot and get to where I need to be on time than call and wait an hour or more for a tow truck for a simple flat. The slime can't fix all types of flats.

If you use the tire repair kit you have to replace the TPMS sensor. (it ruins it) That's $100 added to the cost. I'm going to buy a spare tire to keep with me.

Same. I'll keep the box as an air compressor to fill the tires but that's about it. Never plan to use the slime.

BTW Fairway Ford (reputable and a dealership) has the spare kits on ebay with the jack/wrench and bolts/hardware to mount it for $240 shipped. That's about the cheapest I've seen; some sites are $210 but then charge $40-50 shipping since it weighs 45 pounds. I just bought one.

Well this is good news. On another forum a guy posted that he checked with the parts dept and was told it was $2K for the spare.
I optioned mine with the purchase. Main reason I didn't think about getting the Perf. pack was because of no spare tire.

Just had a flat on my 20s last week. Horrible experience. Repair kit did not work. 11 PM on Christmas eve. Nice person stopped and me air tank to get car home. Replacement tires not readily available. Had to wait until with an order from tire rack or it would have been much longer. $416 for a new Pirelli. I'm looking for a spare that will work with the 20s. Spare tire not for use if you have 20s. Don't know why. Get a spare.

And most dealers knock off at least 10% of if you ask, sometimes even 20%.

If you spend a larger amount, they do more.

When I was doing the conversion on my last car, they knocked off 30%.

It's all about the brakes you have, not your wheel size. If you have the Perf. pack with Brembos, it won't fit.
Now, that being said, the spare might fit the rear Brembos. Get a flat on the front, rotate your tire on the side of the road. At least you can get home.

My car didn't come with a spare kit, so I had the dealer add it as an option at the time of purchase. Now I have both spare AND repair kit. If I ever get a flat, I can use whichever makes the most sense for that situation.

I've only had one flat in 40 years of driving, but it happened on the interstate. By the time I could get to a safe place to change the tire, it was shredded. The repair kit wouldn't have done me much good then!

Can you get a spare to fit if you have the PP?

From what I've read here in some posts, if you have the EcoBoost PP, you can have 18" wheels which can take the 18" donut spare tire. I don't know if this has been verified.
