I have eibach sport line springs on the way. What spacers should I run to get a nice fitment without rubbing until my wheels come in?

Crazy idea, what if you taped a string to hang from the middle of the fender, one heavy enough that it would just hang straight down, and then measure from the outer lip of the wheel to the string. If you don't want it flush with the fender, maybe tape it from the inside of the fender to have it just slightly under? 1 inch ~ 25.4mm, 3/4 inch ~ 20mm.
