[SOLVED] Disable overspeed warning light using forscan?

My 2021 Mustang (Middle East Version) has an overspeed warning light that comes on whenever I hit 120 km/h and it has a faint chime when it comes on. It doesn’t disappear until the speedometer reads below 120 kmh. Can I turn this setting off using forscan? If so, what should I change in it?

When I had a 2013 mustang back in the US, it did not have this feature and I think that even 2018+ (US version) don’t have it as well.

Found this on a F-150 forum :

I can't find the GCC (Gulf Cooperative Council) Overspeed feature in my Mustang Forscan code list, but the others mentionned here are at the same spot (i.e. 720-02-01 bit 0-1-2) so I guess it's worth a try !

I can't find the GCC (Gulf Cooperative Council) Overspeed feature in my Mustang Forscan code list, but the others mentionned here are at the same spot (i.e. 720-02-01 bit 0-1-2) so I guess it's worth a try !

SOLVED: Found it in IPC. Disabled it and now it’s gone. Thanks for your help.

Can you post a video of this sound? I had a friend who imported a car from Japan and it had the speed chime at 100kph and I liked it. Lol

Lol, ford chimes are different than Japanese chime. In the mustang, it is a single chime and happens only once when you hit 120 kmh and it is very low in volume which is hardly noticeable. While Japanese cars in general chimes at a constant rate, for example every 2 seconds (DING DING DING DING DING). That was in my cousin's Toyota Land Cruiser.

Unfortunately I don’t have a video of it nor I could’ve found one online. But it was only a DING and it’s gone, but the overspeed light still remains on.
