Anyone have either of these systems ??

I really like how they do the rear muffler/resonators for the clean look out the back and I would think it would be a pretty light-weight system compared to most others.

Gibson & Stainless Works are the other two I'm considering.

I have the catback and I'm very happy with it. Build quality is outstanding and I like the design of the resonators. I don't know about the weight but I would guess you're probably right since there's no traditional mufflers, just the smaller resonators.

I have the Cat Back, I like it, quiet in cabin, only drone is going up a hill at a certain RPM, but otherwise great. Ran 11.68 at 116 with it as well, its good stuff, and has a great price tag.

Thanks for all the replies ... like what I've read so far !!

Ruby Red ... I did look though the Exhaust Thread all I saw were the videos from Solo, did not see any other "individual" reviews or videos. Searched this whole forum for "Solo Performance" and nothing came up, so I posted this thread.

I considered this when I was selecting an exhaust too. 1 of the reviews in a link 2-STANG posted above convinced me not to. It was this comment, "The sound is very good. The volume level is just right, and you get some muted burbling and crackling on falling revs, and occasional nice, loud cracks on full throttle upshifts (the kind that are usually accompanied with flames, but I have no idea if this is actually happening)."

Some people desire that, I wanted to stay as far away from that as I could. In my day if a car sounded like that, we fixed it. I really like the design and engineering though. If it weren't for the rasp, I might have gone with this.

That was my quote. I would not characterize the sound as "raspy"; in fact, I would say it has zero raspiness. The burbling and crackling is very muted, not obnoxious, and they add character. The cracks at full throttle shifts are probably a little obnoxious outside the car, but they are infrequent, and I actually like them. Overall, the tone is the best I've heard to date.

I had solo on my camaro and it was a very nice system. I know I can't really compare one made for our ebm vs my past camaro but as far as build quality and the engineering that went in on my camaro was top notch. If you want all the power I would definitely do the dp too, however, get ready to deal with a louder exhaust note. This is not only for solo but it goes for about all turbo back.
