I didn't even know there was a premier trim package. What all does it include over premium?

You think Ford is confusing with their packages? Look at chevy. 1ls,2ls,1lt,2lt,1ss,2ss,rs...
I think Ford is relatively straight-forward with their packages.
050A,051A,100A,101A,200A,201A,300A,301A,400A,401A + Premier trims

Soft touch plastic for upper door trim + extra stitching

Different leather and stitching on the seats, soft touch at the top of the doors, different door inserts, different dash top with real stitching and in a different place than the fake stamped in stitching, matching stitching on the shifter boot. May be some others.

What he said.

Actually it's a bit difficult to find good info on this package, even from the dealer, but I will say it's worth the $395 that Ford charges for it. Once I saw one with it, I decided I had to have it. I got the ebony version, since I didn't feel that redline was right for triple yellow (although my friend just got a yellow LaFerrari with red interior :D), and yellow jacket wasn't available in '15.

Weird, I would have sworn the car I checked out was soft touch on the top of the doors and yet it didn't say premier trim on the window sticker.

They need an extra trim package for that?
Indeed. :shrug:put it in all premium cars and add $400 to the sticker and call it a day Ford.

Trust me...go sit in one that has it. Makes the premium seats look/feel cheap.

Also the cooled function works WAAAY better on the premiere seats.

Yah Ford does some really odd things with their packaging on the Mustang...doesn't make a lot of sense.

I'm really hoping Ford makes the Premier trim standard on the Premium package for the '18MY.

C'mon Ford :ford:

I disagree. I mean I wouldn't order one without it BUT options are a good thing. There are definitely people who would skip it to save $400.

Options are a GOOD thing.

You can upgrade the GT Performance Package to get nicer silver painted wheels but some will prefer to save the $200 and stick with the black.

What are premier seats? I thought there was no difference except for colored stiching and I thought only the bottoms cooled?
