So many s550 on the road

I see more Teslas around here than S550s.

In LA there's tons of Teslas which is great given the smog problems they have.
In SD, most of the S550s I see (a lot) are V6 convertibles which probably means tourists with rentals. The GTs account for 20% or less of my sightings.

Crickets around here in SE OK/NE TX. I catch an occasional one on the highway because we bisect two major roads, but I've never seen one in town on a regular basis. The local dealership had four or five sitting on the lot since their debut. They maybe sold one. They just cleared them all off for the 2016s arriving. They need to hit the used market to be affordable for our area.

I rarely see one in NJ and have never seen another Guard Metallic.

I see V6's and EB's every so often. Occasionally a GT. Other than my neighbor's everyday, very rarely a GT PP.

The flip side to the fact that there are so many of them on the road is the huge aftermarket support. You can replace damn near everything on the car to make it your own special snowflake.

I don't see that many overall. However, I do pass the same exact red GT every day M-F. We don't even know each other, but wave as we're passing by. Other than that, I only see V6's. I must be the only person in town who bought an EcoBoost, so at least I've got that going for me.:shrug:

I'd be interested to see the break down among models. I rarely see an EB in my travels, it's either v6 or GT. Hopefully this will be a wake up call to Ford to quit suppressing the v6, but I doubt it.

Living in Tampa I see quite a few rental mustangs every week. However it's nothing compared to driving through Orlando. Every stop light you will see a convertible v6 mustang!

Surprisingly, I don't see too many S550's and I live in Cali. I do see a ton of the older generation mustangs...those are literally eveywhere. I see more ecoboost or v6 (can't tell the difference) on the road than GT's

I see gt's here and there but remember we live in a tourist town. Most of what we see daily in socal are rentals.

This is all good news. The original Mustang was a huge seller. We're not looking for elitist obscurity here.

In northern Virginia I have not seen that many of them. I think a lot of folks have them as garage queens. On one sunny day I saw a handful during a 30 min ride to work.
