3.15 is the way to go if you drive a ton of highway and/or plan on making big power down the road ;). However, gear for what you like.

Yes. I drive over 60 miles a day plus I'm coming out of a focus with 151hp so 435hp even with a 3.15 is plenty for me. I did add reverse sensing and 68B the next day though!

The 3.15s work great for what you have in mind. You will NOT think it's underpowered, and you will enjoy the 28-29 mpg freeway (after 5000 miles or so). And the 68B is the thing to have. I call my car a Gentleman's Express. Very fast, very comfortable, very relaxed. Not the track day star that many have ordered, but just exactly what I wanted.

That's what I was looking for. I drove my mom's 2006 GT premium convertible to Florida and it only has 300 or so hp. That was good so this should be a whole lot better.

Thanks! But, going on 2 weeks and my car still isn't in COTUS. Could this be because they don't have allocation yet? At least one other person on here ordered after me and they are in COTUS and already have a VIN. Ford service (On this site) confirmed it was ordered and was "In processing" or something to that effect on Monday. I don't mind the wait but I really wish it would show up in COTUS. I'll contact them again in a day or two and maybe I'll get a VIN and it'll show up that way.:shrug:

Well an update. Went up to my dealer today to kill some time and found out they still don't have any allocation for a mustang. Maybe next week. maybe not. So.. I went to the back lot and found a car I had previously passed up. For only a few K more I'm getting a Ruby Red GT premium with the 50 years appearance package, Nav, Security, reverse sensing and spare tire. Didn't feel like waiting when this one was calling my name! I pick it up tomorrow / Saturday afternoon if all goes well. (I don't count on anything till it's in my driveway) Helps that they told me there's an extra $500 besides the normal $500 for A plan buyers!
