Race Red GT premium, 18'' low gloss foundry wheels, spoiler delete, security system, spare wheel, AT, 3.15 The guy that does the ordering at my dealership (small dealer) said they are only allocated so many per month and I have to wait till they can get an opening to order it. Shouldn't take too long but he also said it is getting harder to get a 2015 because Ford is starting to build the global cars now. He even said I may have a longer than usual wait because of it. Anyway, no DORA until he submits it to Ford in the morning and then only if they give him an allocation to order a car. Could be tomorrow or 2 weeks before I get my order #. Anyone thinking of ordering especially from a smaller dealership might want to look into this. On the bright side, maybe they'll be better incentives when it comes in!

If time is a factor you may look into ordering from a bigger one and having it delivered to the smaller one. Might cost a few hundred more...

dime a dozen, it's all about allocation, my small dealer was 7 weeks from order to dealer. They had allocation and had to order one that day any way with 0 down,

Dealer picks the order #, so you would know the order # instantaneously upon placing the order.

DORA (dealer order receipt acknowledgement) prints the day after the order goes in (even if the dealer has no allocation for that order yet).

Good to know. I'll call them tomorrow or Thursday to get the dora. Not really in a hurry to get it as I planned on a few months anyway. Seems like the clocks slowed down a bit today though!

Quick question. When looking for the order # on my dora, is it the "begin order" number or "special order" number? I only have a 4 digit # beside begin order. The other is blank. Thanks!

Google St. Louis. Chicago, or Atlanta ford dealers. Search their inventory.

in st. louis alone, there are 40+ GT premiums on dealer lots. Should not be that hard to find a car that fits you criteria.

I would, but I'm waiting on a few financial items to come together so I have a bit of time. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Hey ktp1598,

Your order number would be the 4-digit number. Congrats on ordering a new Pony!

Yes. I drive over 60 miles a day plus I'm coming out of a focus with 151hp so 435hp even with a 3.15 is plenty for me. I did add reverse sensing and 68B the next day though!
