47 now, purchased my '17 GT for my 45th bday. 1st Mustang. I had been considering one since the 2011 GTs came with the coyote motor, but ended up buying a BMW convertible for my 40th in 2012. 5 years later, I couldn't hold out any longer and added the GT to the garage.
I have always owned a sports car, since 18 years old, so I always will. I hope to keep this GT for a long time.

55 here...Got my 18 GT, PP1,6sp nearly 2yrs ago. First memories and infatuation of a Mustang was a slot car track I got as a kid. One car being a red fastback Mustang and the other a blue Camaro. I fell in love with that Mustang fastback early!
When I was 14-15, in late seventies, the headmaster at our school had a college age son who was a car nut. He showed up at school one day during lunchtime, in his white w/blue striped, 66 Shelby GT350! The entire lunchroom emptied to go check it out! The sound and look of that car sealed the deal right there!

Dont own an S550 yet. Looking to get into a 2020 Grabber Lime GT around end of month/beginning of April. Currently drive a 2014 V6. Came from a Ford family but honestly considered other cars. But the heritage and following Mustangs have is untouchable. Cant wait to get into a V8.

45 - 2019 Mustang GT Premium A10 here. Not my first Mustang rodeo though, my last was a 2015 GT Premium Vert... my first was a '66 and that was my first car ever (went with that over a fox body LX 5.0). Been a Mustang fan ever since but wasn't excited enough to get back into one until they came back with the 5.0 again.

Okay, I don't qualify, but I was wondering how many forum members under the age of 62 own S550 Mustangs.
I'd like to know your approximate age, rather you have an Ecoboost or a GT, and why you chose a Mustang.

I'm not associated with ANY company, marketing research, or any data collection firm. I just thought that since there was almost the same question for seniors, I'd like to know how the S550 fares with non-seniors, and why.

Have fun with it.

I'll even start out.

I'm 65+, I have a 2019 GT Premium PP2, and I got it because I loved my 2013 GT premium Brembo, but the 19 PP2 took care of issues I had with the 13's suspension.
53, like fast cars with V-8's and generally have one as a 3rd car.
Vette's, Camaro's or Mustangs, doesn't matter. Get a new one every two years but must get 25% off MSRP to keep the game going.
When I retire will probably just keep what we have at the time.

24, I've always had a love for Mustangs and I've had my 2016 Shadow Black Ecoboost for 1 year today! I came from owning a 2000 Ford Ranger and then a 2012 Kia Forte Koup with 156-hp (where the ladies at am I right?). I finally got a big boy job and couldn't decide between a base GT or a loaded Ecoboost. I couldn't pass up the PP Premium as well as cheaper insurance (which is a freaking joke for us young fellas).

I would love to grab a GT within the next couple of years but until then I'm going to keep tinkering with looks and small performance mods.

I've added "Day-1" and "Today" pics to show the progress I've made. I know, probably a little ricey but I love it, sorry not sorry.

27 here as well. Bought my ā€˜15 gt premium in May of ā€˜18 out of South Carolina from the gentleman who bought it brand new. I had an ā€˜01 gt, ā€˜01 Cobra and ā€˜04 Mach 1 before my current Mustang and I knew I needed one after seeing and hearing about what it was capable of. Then I went and drove one and that was it. Before that, I went back and forth between an s2000 and an s550. Ended up picking the s550 and havenā€™t regretted it for a second. I picked a gt because It was the only route I considered. I think thatā€™s part of what makes it a pony car

Iā€™m 30. 2015 gt premium procharged +-12lbs on e85.
This is my third mustang... I loved the fifth gen looks way more than the s550 and to be honest I still do but the mechanical update/upgrades to the 6th gen are what got me...

Almost 55 here with a ā€˜17 GT convertible. First mustang for me. Wife says itā€™s my midlife crisis and I said nope, my dream car. First and last time I test drove a Mustang GT convertible was in 1985 and my Dad said insurance too high! Ha!

57. This is my 3rd and last s550. Just paid it off a few weeks ago. Keeping this car tilā€™ Iā€™m too old to drive. They are getting too expensive and I hate buying cars from dealers.

Waiting for my IKON GT500 front bumper to arrive next week. Going to be busy next weekend.
