Just got my invite...no more holiday days left :( but can probably sneak a half day. Very very tempted by this, seems to good an opportunity to pass on! If insurance is less than £100 i think i'll do it. Very nervous about thrashing my car around a track but why have it if im not going to test its limits?!

I'm still sitting on the fence, really want to go, don't want to break my car though .. knowing my luck it'll probably vapourise mid track.

Don't really know the area to be honest, might be better if i can grab a hotel the night and take the kids somewhere the following day.

You won't get insurance for less than £100. Most companies seem to go on the 10%, 1% rule. Policy is 1% of the value, excess is 10% of the value & it barely covers you for anything at all other than total write off.

Go for it G,
It's a big circuit, you don't have to drive out of your comfort zone.
I've done plenty of track days on my bike.
It's not a race, YOU are just renting circuit time, Most people will be in the same boat
