Just had an invite from Ford to Silverstone on 6th April, 2 hours session with 40 mins on track with an instructor. I assume this must be for champions league owners

Best place for track day insurance?

I take it you can get standalone track insurance to cover time on track & don't have to take out an entirely new car policy for the year with track included?

Just checked my work email - I have an invite too! :eyebulge:

Going to check insurance prices - you pay by the day, but be prepared to part with a couple of hundred pounds for a days cover!! :doh:

Just need to try & get next Wednesday off & drive from Glasgow to Silverstone thru' the night!! :headbonk:

Yeah, I just called them :doh:

They put me on to tempcover.com & they quoted me £65.87 & £500 excess.

They did ask that I wouldn't be doing Time Trial, Pace Setting or Racing, to which I replied NO.

Is a 40-Minute Track Drive with a Professional Instructor present at all times, then covered okay

Yes got my invite today as well.... Not a lot of use as still in recovery post surgery so not allowed to drive at pace. I emailed back and will email Andy next week to see if there are other dates.

Two weeks notice is not great to be honest

Lol, don't bet on it. It was done as a favour not to gain any advances or further treatment. They're also signed off from all mustang owners not me ;)!

If it was to gain favour that's a bribe haha!
