is bubble starting to become a common thing?

It seems it may be random vehicles. A few members on here have it and it's all with the Premier trim with Color Accent group.

Escapes aren't bad to drive. I DD a '15 Titanium. It's not nearly as fun as the Mustang though lol. Hopefully you get your car back soon, and 100%.

It's not a bad car, but honestly, the only car I would probably buy without the MyFord Touch is the mustang. I drove a focus and this escape with the MyFord screen and it's just way too small. Maybe because it's so far away from you on the dash and it's closer to you in the mustang.

The 1.6 EcoBoost in it is pretty sharp too.

Seems to be an issue with the glue that holds the "leather" in place. Only remedy is to replace the dash pad, and Ford decided to make it interconnected to the skeleton, so you have to replace the entire dash skeleton to replace the pads. Kinda stupid, really.

Gotta have the big screen. I had it in my Focus, this Escape, my wife's Explorer, and the Mustang.

They had to order a completely new drivers door panel (damaged it), drivers sill plate (scratched it up), drivers exterior trim piece (scratched it too), and sent it to a body shop to get a dent fixed on the drivers door (happened when the door was opened, the "wind" blew it closed when there was a bolt sticking out on the side and pushed against the sheet metal), scratches on the door sill (down to the primer), and damaged the dash trim piece with the PP gauges.
Reading that puts a vision in my head of The Three Stooges working on your car.

Kinda funny, I met the tech who did the initial dash replacement and he looked like one of the three stooges [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

That was the signal to get in your car and fly out of there!!! :D

Your has the 50th package, right? My dash bubble is in the same spot as yours (from the pics I saw). The Ford rep told me they had not seen it happen before --- referring to mine.

Man I feel ya...I gotta bring my car back into the dealer on Tuesday the 9th to have the scorched rear rotors looked at and what may look to be bad pair of half-shafts.

I emailed my CSM (I spoken to her once by phone since she was assigned to me) and basically told her that we would like our GT to sit in the garage with no other problems rearing it's ugly head.

Even my Roush wasn't this bad. It's frustrating and inconvenient as hell.

The thing is that these are not issues from the factory. My dashboard was replaced for a bubbling issue. All the stuff that's being replaced are stuff the tech damaged while he was replacing my dash. This is long and annoying. It would be nice if they could offer something else for my inconvience, but, being Hawaii, all I'll probably get is a "sorry ah brah, no worries, I take care of you next time"

Problem is there isn't gonna be a next time.
