Like a few have said.go for it!. Its warrantied..Thats exactly how I bought mine..200 miles away.they fedexed the purchase agreement and loan contract after we agreed on price..I signed it and sent it back. The coming weekend a courtesy driver drove it to my house with a follow car.couple of old codgers so I got lucky there..has been a great car.

Hundreds of us on this forum ordered cars in 2014 before a single one was built. I'd say 99 percent of us were pretty happy with how that worked out. Some guys were a little hurt over QC issues, but by and large Ford took care of it. I wouldn't hesitate on a new car. They can and will make it right if there's an issue.

Unless you're one of the unfortunates with the 50-70 vibration issue ! Definitely a lot of foot dragging from Ford on that issue. If I knew @ delivery time what I know now, I would have bailed on the deal unless they fully resolved the issue before I paid a dime.

My wife bought my car for me for Christmas. I had actually test drove one and knew what options I wanted, but we were waiting a few months before getting it. I didn't know at the time, but she was already working the deal on the car. Another dealer came in about $1,500 less, but had to transfer it from another dealer. When it showed up, it wasn't the same car. They had either switched it or shipped wrong car. VIN wasn't the same. They said "well your a girl and it's the same car". She walked and went to the dealer we originally test drove and they beat the other dealer by $1,000. If the car comes in and it isnt what you want, walk.
