It is my understanding that the side trim has to be cut to install the Watson Racing 4 point roll cage. For anyone who has done it, do you have part numbers for the side trim (each side). I read on another forum that people were having a hard time locating the trim.

I don't want to cut the original trim. I bought a spare seat delete so that I don't have to cut the original, I'm looking to get the two trim pieces to do the same and let the next owner decide whether they want a roll cage or not.

Thanks

The GT350 uses the same panels as any other s550 mustangs, There isn't any made specifically for the GT350

Yes, I know, but I was under the impression those trim parts are hard to come by. I'll just pull the parts and take them to my local dealer to see about new pieces.

Tom - When I bought a replacement trunk lid off of a guy who was parting out a 5k - 6k GT PP car (to use with the C2C R wing), he also had a pair of the rear panels. I bought those from him, too, in case I ever want to do a roll bar. .... paid just fifty bucks for the pair. Take a look around on eBay and craigslist to see if you can find some - or maybe check at the local pick-and-pull.

The rear seats in these cars don't see a lot of passenger use, so those panels are often in great shape, regardless of mileage.

Also, mine are up in the attic for storage, but I can pull them down and take pics of the part number tags if you'd like - no sense in pulling and reinstalling yours any more than you need to, as the pins can be a bit delicate and you don't want to risk breaking them any more than you have to.

In another thread I put up the P/Ns and prices. can't remember which thread, they are not cheap.

You can find the P/Ns on Autonation White Bear lake or Tasca's part's site. (I guess any dealer website, but those are the two I use.)

Thank you Chris

At $260 a pop, they must be made out of the same unobtanium plastic material that the R splitter is made from.

If this helps anyone down the road, it looks like the current part numbers are FR3Z-6331013-AA and FR3Z-6331012-AA

They are around $225 each. It may be difficult for me to find the part on such a recent production car at a pull a part lot

Chris,

If the panels are in good shape, would you be interested in a trade for a standard GT350 splitter (new in the box) for the trim panels?

Thanks
