No real commitment. If you should decide you don't want it anymore, remove it. It can be removed, but not on a routine basis. My thoughts..... the rear seat on an R is useless. If you are going to track it, the added safety is worth it. Bonus, you can now add a harness.

Also, when locating the holes on the rsd panel. I used a telescopic magnet tool - it attached to the roll cage in the center of the tube. Once it extends to the rsd, your centerpoint for bar is located. Mark with paint pen.. Drill.
Hey Eric, I don't know how I missed your post. Absolutely I will, schedule permitting. My advice to you is do it in the cooler months. This job would exponentially suck in the summer months in FL. I would even wait until the seasons change for this one.

Not a GT350 owner and trolling here is I want to do this install as well. I have the rear seat delete (aftermarket clone from LMR) and it would be great if Watson included a paper template or made one available for download for this part of the install.
I spoke of tolerances in my earlier post. That is the problem. Each car is not 100% identical. The bar, when installed, has to be adjusted to the car. That will affect the placement of the holes in the rear seat delete. A small variance in the location of the roll hoop will make a huge difference in the location of the holes for the rear legs. So far, MMM365 has the best idea that I have seen so far. The only issue with that is that the powder coating on my roll hoop left the portion that the magnet would stick to a little uneven. A small file or sanding block would fix that issue.
Ah yes, I recall that now. Thank you for all of the excellent information and photo's, I greatly appreciate you helping us DIY's out! Mine is not a $70k car, but I still like for everything to look professionally done when completed.
