My opinion is worth what you paid for it: get an expert to inspect carefully for front suspension/frame damage. What I see simply looks cosmetic, but could be concealing something worse.

Hood looks damaged as well
Diminished value claim? As you won’t have a clean car fax report assuming you were not at fault

I'm thinking the hood can be straightened.

Make sure they blend the left fender if they replace the hood. Will definitely be blending the front door. I would say assumeing damage isn't pushed into the apron probably around 4.5 to 5k. I would not hesitate to have it repaired through insurance at it has the potential get exponentially more expensive.

about 3500 tops if you dont have oem parts on your insurance. your going to get aftermarket or used .. my buddy got hit it needed a door, rocker, and quarter panel to get fixed, plus labor and paint it came out to 5100

would be a time for a gt350 front bumper conversion for sure ,and if they cant fix that hood, id get a nice cowl hood or sweet aftermarket one to take its place , but seeing you have a 17 theres used parts all over that the insurance company will most likely make the body shop get

A good shop that knows how the game is played can either a) price match the a/m part for oem or b) insure that that the a/m doesn't "work" be it fitment concern, part damage or deformity or something that makes less than an equal replacement for oem which will force the use of oem

only good thing is there isnt alot of body panels aftermarket replacement (panel wise ) out.. i know the oem rocker was 500 bucks used door was the same price
trick is finding a shop thats going to get you as much oem parts as possible and not try to milk your car with aftermarket that doesnt fit so they can make twice as much

i been in the auto body biz for 10 yrs now ( painter) i dont get the down low on the claim end or ordering parts but insurance companies are a pain in the ass anymore , our adjuster and claims people go back and forth with them to no end..

Fender, hood, headlight and fascia at minimum. That estimate will be higher than you may think

I have never worked with a shop that wanted to use a/m, their margins on OEM are much more profitable which is why they can price match am pretty easily is alot of scenarios. A/m is largely to allow for insurance to keep over all price down on claims and keep policy prices within reason

Many places are not blending body panels any longer. When my hood was replaced due to the cancer, the Ford dealership came out with a special camera from Axalta, took several pictures right up against the paint, and the computer mixes everything. It's a dead match for my fenders and front bumper.

OP, I'd say you're in for $5-6000, assuming there's no damage to the radiator, AC, or anything else in the nose. I'd make sure they take a good look at the suspension components, frame rails, etc.
