I guess all that being said, my butt dyno doesn't feel any different when it is 50 degrees outside, vs 70 lol. Im sure itd show on a dyno, but these cars are just so darn powerful anyways.
I'm guessing it's more about humidity in the atmosphere than temperature. Less humidity means more oxygen in the atmosphere, and more power.

How can you say in the same sentence that it is “street tested” but illegal to use on the street and designed for “ off road only”” ???
Bit hypocritical maybe???
Because then the manufacturer doesn’t have to get approved by the DOT. Also makes them not liable to lawsuits while used on the street and something gets damaged.

I wonder how much hp the Roush CAI w/o tunning gives. Apparently the Injen and the new Corsa gives 20+hp.

Lol, Jesus. Too technical. Even though your right. Lol, I’m not building a mustang for NASA.
Keep in mind the increase in iat with the open intakes. If high enough will pull timing and actually decrease power. Stock box keeps it down and performs admirably, unless you are on a 15-17 then could consider an 18+ oem as an option.

Thats really good. Im in Puerto Rico right now so around 50-75ft above sea level where I live and work.

The dyno chart is the one provided by Injen.
Wow. So the no-tune required injen make 6 more horsepower than the dyno/racer proven best CAI (imo) in the world tune required 120mm PMAS. I knew those Honda peeps were right about the injen.

Tune vs no tune cai. What most people think it means: No tune = no more fuel needed due to lack of additional air flow vs tune meaning additional fuel needed due to so much air flow increase. If you have a carburetor then this is the case but when you have a MAF sensor using a formula to calculate air lbs/min and you change the tube size, that formula no longer can work so a tune is required to recalculate

I don't understand what you're talking about with Honda peeps. I was looking for a no-tune closed box with a good increase in area under the torque curve. The Injen checked all the boxes for what I was looking for and the butt dyno registers good results. Sounds like you're dissing it for some reason.

There's no way a no-tune CAI is making anywhere near 26 hp over stock.
Oh OK that I understand someone questioning - in fact I emailed Injen asking exactly that before buying it. Couldn’t find a better closed no-tune option for $250 so thought I’d give it a try and was actually pleasantly surprised with the results.

What they say ? Cause even the Ford Performance ProCal 4 Calibration With GT350 Cold Air Intake And GT350 Throttle Body Kit is only making 20 hp peak.

I'm not experienced with a no-tune CAI, from Injen or any other manufacturer. I would, however, be very skeptical of the power gain claims. That just doesn't seem right.
