U-haul wardrobe boxes with a platform to bolt the seats to, such as light plywood and lots of packing materials can work.
I shipped a pair of Miata seats to a friend on Bonaire island a few years ago in a single wardrobe box, one up and one down with lots of packing material. I put a piece of 3/4" foam rubber from those interlocking garage mats in the bottom to keep the seat rails from punching through.

Yes, what he said - but I never used anything to bolt the seats to. I just took some extra card board to line the bottom of the box where the tracks of the seat sit. Normally I would buy two boxes per seat. Put the seat in one box, then slip the second box over the first, tape it all together. I did this more than a few times when I was parting cars out.

Of course shipping rates have jumped a good bit since I was doing this a lot.

Keep in mind though, you’re probably looking at a 25-30% premium when you actually go to ship them since they are R seats. Best you should try and cover that up and maybe they’ll slide through ;) HAHAHAHA!
