So the shift knob adapter is only needed if you keep the stock shift knob? Is that right?

MGW all day. It is very precise and not stiff at all. Especially broken in. Well worth the price. I mean you use the shifter every time you drive the car. It could of been 1k for the shifter and I still probably would of bought it. Best mod to date. Its even a tiny bit better then the 2.9 whipple i put on the car.

I think you guys sold me lol. Hopefully they have a Black Friday sale or something. Last question, is there an increase in noise or vibration inside the car with the mgw?

MGW > Barton?

At this point Boomba's pretty well right out for me, but I'd still like to upgrade the shifter.

I am presently running a Blowfish bracket. I assume that would be obviated with an MGW, right?

It's not tight to me at all. I put RP synchromax and a steeda transmission bushing along with the MGW. It shifts extremely smooth and I have never missed a shift with it. The MGW is by far the best mod that I have done.
Ah, so you do still need the Steeda bushing with the MGW shifter?

I had a Blowfish bracket prior to the MGW. The MGW is much better. MGW completely replaces the shifter linkage and bolts directly to the transmission. MGW is well worth the money and my favorite mod.

Are there any other companies that sell the mgw other than mgw themselves? Any coupon codes?

There's a post on one of the FB groups from Weir Racing saying they have some in-stock ready to ship, but it's actually more than MGW. Otherwise I think they only sell direct.

I'm going to hold off until Black Friday and hope they have some sort of deal.

We mostly sell direct and will never have them in wholesale online companies because there is just too much work in them to have that kind of inflated markup.

We do have a mustang6g coupon code MGW6G2015 in all caps.

Weir racing buys them alot because they sell them with full kits and dont get any more discount than you guys so thats why they are more. BUT...they have some in stock usually so some people are willing to pay a little more to have it asap.

We are catching up on production though finally

We use MGW exclusively in our project and development cars here at BMR, and we could not ask for better products.

Thanks George for making such excellent components with amazing design and engineering characteristics/features.

You will need to purchase one of the adapters either for the OEM style knob or a regular style threaded knob.
I went with the OEM style adapter because I already ordered an OEM style shift knob.

Any weighted shift knobs to compliment your shifter?

we just released this and they are the best looking and feeling knobs i have EVER seen...the base is solid steel that is triple chromed. I will have MGW logo also in a few weeks....they are not online yet but available.

50.00 for gear pattern or mgw logo

58.00 for cobra or pony due to licensing fees
