Ah, so you do still need the Steeda bushing with the MGW shifter? It's not tight to me at all. I put RP synchromax and a steeda transmission bushing along with the MGW. It shifts extremely smooth and I have never missed a shift with it. The MGW is by far the best mod that I have done.
I had a Blowfish bracket prior to the MGW. The MGW is much better. MGW completely replaces the shifter linkage and bolts directly to the transmission. MGW is well worth the money and my favorite mod.MGW > Barton?
At this point Boomba's pretty well right out for me, but I'd still like to upgrade the shifter.
I am presently running a Blowfish bracket. I assume that would be obviated with an MGW, right?
No, it's the steeda insert for the transmission. SorryAh, so you do still need the Steeda bushing with the MGW shifter?
There's a post on one of the FB groups from Weir Racing saying they have some in-stock ready to ship, but it's actually more than MGW. Otherwise I think they only sell direct. Are there any other companies that sell the mgw other than mgw themselves? Any coupon codes?

You will need to purchase one of the adapters either for the OEM style knob or a regular style threaded knob.So the shift knob adapter is only needed if you keep the stock shift knob? Is that right?
Any weighted shift knobs to compliment your shifter? We use MGW exclusively in our project and development cars here at BMR, and we could not ask for better products.
Thanks George for making such excellent components with amazing design and engineering characteristics/features.
