I searched around for this but didn't find a succinct thread on the topic so I'll start one.
Reading reviews of the MGW Shifter and it sounds like this is what I want to go with. There are many options with this unit and I'd like to get a run down on the key choices.
So I read that in the combinations there are about 4 different reductions you can have that all seem fairly close. Does one of these options dramatically change the feel or shift effort? Are either of those shift knobs weighted? Is the flatstick just for looks?
Thanks!

- Standard vs X-spec
- Standard, low ball, and flat stick for handles
- Round ball vs gripper ball
- Extra deluxe jam nut
