If you're leaning toward white, the bullitt knob is pretty great.

+1 on WMgarage.com

I had the RTR knob in black with green details... loved it, but they aren't the greatest quality... the color on the inside would come off easily if I cleaned it, and after a while it looked faded.

I ended up going with WMGarage who made me a custom knob, put the image I gave them right on the knob. It's much better quality and has like a clear coat over it and cleans easily.

...and STAY AWAY FROM ANARCHY-MOTIVE

Well, I guess I’m gonna be spending more money.
Mine's the bk-sk in candy red, feels great and the knurling makes it grippy. Maybe I'm just a madman but I can't do those metal ball style ones since my hand slides off half the time

Ok so here's the deal. I actually run a shift solutions weighted knob. It's a great knob. However, in just two weeks, the edges of the numbers have started to fade. Beyond that, shi(f)t solutions provides the ABSOLUTE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I have at least a dozen messages to these guys and they ignore EVERY SINGLE ONE. Man these guys piss me off so I can't endorse them one bit.

Like the Bullitt. Not sure about the stainless ones. I had one back in my ricer days and it was always either too freaking hot or too cold until I had been driving for a bit. The paint takes care of that.

Well I’ve read that weighted shift knobs are not good for the transmission…
is this true or just conjecture.. Thanks Grandpa Bill

Honestly IDK. First I've heard that a weighted knob is bad for the trans.

I've also read that a weighted knob helps to smooth out the shifts, so you decide.

have also heard that it's basically like resting your hand on the knob, so I went with 200 g instead of 500 g (1 lb)

There is that argument out there. I personally feel like it's coming from the people saying don't ever keep your hand resting on the knob. Does it really put an added strain on the trans? I'm not sold it does.

I have had weighted knobs on several of my cars and never the slightest issue.
